I replaced a 20 year old TP base that was still in good shape but too high. This one could be lowered and is much less bulky. Works great and takes less room

In General-
The height is great if you have issues standing from a lower bed or if you use a wheelchair or scooter, the wheels fit under the ledge so you can get closer to the bed. The bed goes to a higher angle than my last bed. When it didn't raise to nearly 90 degrees, it hurt my neck to do things in bed, like was watch TV or write.
Split King Features-
PROS: People complain about the gap in a split king, but I really like it. Not just for the independent bed functions but because it gives a little extra room if laying on your side puts too much pressure on your arm. And of course, being able to use each side independently when one partner wants to tuck in early.
CONS: The split frame was hooked together by the guys who installed the bed (they were great), but it does not stop the mattresses from falling off the sides if someone tosses and turns. Trying to find a solution that doesn't impede the function and doesn't require me to drill holes in my new bed frame is hard and requires some trial and error. It's also much harder to change the sheets if your bed is up against a wall because you'll have to climb onto one bed to put the fitted sheet on the inside corner of the other.
A few complaints, but they are all fairly minor and overall, we love the bed.

Tale of two ProSmart Bases, and two completely different customer experiences.
We went with the Split King, which are two Twin XL mattresses and bases. One ProSmart Base has worked properly from the beginning. The other has never worked properly. We've had to call for service multiple times. Twice, the service appointments were not scheduled correctly, so we just waited for no one to show up, and had to call back in. Two different times, they sent the wrong part, which meant the technician couldn't make the repair when he showed up (the process is that they'll ship the replacement part to your home before the technician arrives, rather than the technician showing up with with replacement part). This meant calling in again, and going through their process again, which includes following their tedious troubleshooting checklist again, and again, and again. All of this has taken close to six months.
Now in trying to get a warranty claim, I have to start a fresh new process where it's asking me to jump through hoops submitting receipts, photos and documents I've either already submitted for the service issue, or they should already have.
Not sure how they can make it more inconvenient.
Compare that to the purchase experience. We had a first-class sales experience at the TempurPedic store in Costa Mesa. If it wasn't for the lemon ProSmart Base, our review would easily be 5 stars.
This is our second TempurPedic bed. We've never had to call into TempurPedic support before this issue. This was a learning experience. If nothing is wrong, the experience is first class. If something goes wrong, it's a low-grade, mismanaged adventure.

The base works smoothly and easily and the TEMPUR-ProAdapt12" Firm mattress is a dream to sleep on. Together, however, they are absurdly mis-matched. If you raise the foot of the mattress to elevate your feet the mattress rises in a straight diagonal rising from the head to the foot /| if you raise the head of the mattress so as to sit up is bed the mattress forms a straight diagonal rising from the foot to the head |\ The mattress does not bend to conform to the adjustable frame it just stays ridged from the lowest point of the frame to the highest.

This bed has been a life-changer. My husband has a lot of health issues and being able to sleep with his head raised has helped a lot. We can both adjust our individual sides of our king-sized bed so it is just right for our own needs.

We've always purchased Tempur-Pedic mattresses. We bought the adjustable base with our last mattress purchase. It has been awful. The base legs resemble cheap, plastic stackable cups. Anytime my spouse moves during the night, the base jiggles and wakes me from sleep. We've had Temper-Pedic come out and service the base, adjust the legs to no avail. Do not purchase!!

I use a power wheelchair and it was difficult to get close to my last bed but the new base sits at the perfect height for the bigger wheel to fit under the bed and make transferring in and out of bed easier and safer.

I bought a split king from Tempurpedic and got the electric base to go with the bed. Biggest mistake I have ever made. Returned the beds because they are just so uncomfortable. I didn't know that once you buy the bed frame, you can't return it. So, now I am stuck with these flimsy bed frames with no mattresses. The price is definitely not worth it either. I had a Tempurpedic bed for over 20 years. It was an amazing bed, but it was worn out and tried to buy one similar to the one we had. Bought 2 different beds and returned both because the are not at all like the old bed. Customer service said you can't return it and doesn't want to deal with you. I am now $2500 down because I have no use for these bed frames. I am so disappointed in Tempurpedic. I will never buy another product from them. So sad 😞

This is a great bed base for those of us desiring only basic function without the extra frills of under-bed lighting and USB ports for phone charging, or the extra things to malfunction those frills add. However, and most unfortunately, and very disappointing, is the sad fact that one must spend the extra money for those "frills" just to get what should absolutely be a basic function not lumped in with the "extra frills" - favorite position memory settings. If the Ease base included this basic function, I would have easily given it five stars.

We selected this product because the bed would automatically raise the head and vibrate when the associated SleepTracker AI app would detect my snoring. It does all the same things the other top-of-the-line articulated beds do (e.g. zero g, vibration, lumbar support, underbed lights) but it was the automatic detection and implementation that prompted us to select this frame. The bed (and associated app) have worked without issue and my spouse has noticed a significant reduction in my snoring. The price of the bed and the lack of a "snooze" option on the associated sleep tracking app keep this from being 5 stars. Otherwise, extremely happy with the product.

We've had 2 bases in less than 2 years and both bases move/shake when rolling over in bed. I DO NOT recommend the base. The 'white glove delivery service' is a joke. The delivery men do not tighten the legs, which should be part of the delivery service. We will never purchase this product again and I do not recommend! And yes, I've contacted service several times about the issue.

My unit has been broken longer than I have had it. Purchased my unit in December of 2025 and in January 2026 the head stop moving. It is now March and it still doesn't work. So I can really say if it's a good purchase or not. Next appointment is in 2 weeks I guess we will have to see if it's time to send it back

I like the manual raise and lower and lumbar function .
The vibration mode seems to be a waste , it never reaches my lower back where I thought it would be effective with back pain relief . Vibrating my head and feet and nothing in the middle is kinda useless !
Sleep tracker is great , really like this feature . Nice to be able to see and track your sleep patterns and how eating , exercise , air quality etc affects your sleep and how habits can improve or worsen your sleep .
Snore feature works good and really seems to work .
Wish the motors were a little less noisy , they are quite loud .
Product appears well made but still needs improvements .

Love it -BUT- I have 1 suggestion: Remote needs to Light up at night! Extremely HARD to see what you are looking for ! ONLY lights up when you activate the buttons! Should activate when remote is PICKED UP with out PRESSING buttons

My bed, even though I stopped using the remote, kept creeping away from the wall, and when I'd
slide it back, it would put pressure on the legs, and eventually they became loose.and I had a couple legs pull the fittings out, withe the screws still in them.

We bought it for ourselves with a firm queen size mattress. We were not happy with the mattress and we returned it. It was too hard and we also found out too small.. while we could not return the queen size base we did return the queen size mattress and ordered another similar mattress in king size. Because we were unable to return the queen base we moved it across the hall to our sons room, where he now enjoys it
The king size adjustable base is way too expensive so we bought a foundation for the new King mattress
His favorite part about the adjustable base is zero gravity
